The use of "its" in C and E is fine. C and E have other problems.

In C, the use of the semicolon makes the portion of the sentence after the semicolon a fragment.

In E, the placement of "which" makes it unclear whether the baby's sense of vision or the 20/500 rating would be deemed legally blind for an adult. Also, it's awkward to say "X vision would be deemed/considered legally blind for an adult" when you can more clearly say "an adult with X vision would
