what is wrong with option E and how come "Is" is used for " the rapidness of inventory acquisition and transaction is called turnover in the United States" in D. Shouldn't it be "are" ??
the rapidness is the subject the rest is of- construction which plays the role of middleman.
in E the right grammatical construction is :"the rate is called turnover" but in E instead of "is", "are" is used.
