GMAT Sentence Correction (SC) | Re: GMAT Club Grammar Book Due to the fact that there are many

I gone through the GMAT grammar book the main reason to choose B over A is the usage of because over due to.
Because is followed by clause - subject and verb whereas Due to is followed by noun clause. Which is incorrect here.

If experts explain this better it will help us.
