OE please.
Can anyone please tell me that in (campaigning marked by civility), how campaigning is acting as a present participle but not as a simple gerund?
According to my understanding, one can parallel noun with complex gerunds but not with simple gerund, hence we can eliminate certain options.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
