GMAT Sentence Correction (SC) | Re: Unlike many United States cities, where a river is no longer

I think it's interesting that many folks have objected to choice B) because of the "many cities" vs. "one river" problem, but choice E) has exactly the same problem! It would be better to say:

"No longer do many cities in the United States have rivers as the focal point of urban life...."

I think this is a sorry question.
