Yep, as was replied above, if you want to save money it would be best to do it at the time of the exam. In reference to waiting a few years to send scores, the sooner the better. If you wait 3 or 4 years your scores will become less valid to schools of which you are applying. This is because they are no longer a current representation of your knowledge base.
