General GMAT Questions and Strategies | Admission Criteria and Selection probability

Hi,

I am software engineer with total experience of around 4 years. I am currently working in IT consulting firm.

I did my B.E. in IT from reputed college.

My academics are:
B.E. - 57%
12th - 62%
10th - 72%

As the acads are terrible so I doubt whether it's a good idea for me to prepare for GMAT or not.

So, I want to know few things from the experts here:
a) What is the weightage of acads?
b) How much these percentages will affect me at the time of admission?
c) If acads matters then how much
