GMAT Sentence Correction (SC) | Using the word "that" after "but"

Hi,

I read somewhere that on GMAT, using the word "that" after "but" is always incorrect.
I think it was on Manhattan GMAT but I cannot find it.
Just wanted to confirm with someone....
