Since the IR section on the GMAT is still relatively new most schools are still sorting out there stance on what these scores mean. Early indicators do suggest that there's not a huge correlation between that score and performance in b-school so the majority of schools are not really using it as an assessment tool. This could change as schools get more information and is probably still even now a school by school decision. but overall it does not mean much and I would not recommend taking your
