GMAT Data Sufficiency (DS) | Re: In the xy- plane, does the point (4,12) lie on the line K.

I believe this question is ambiguous. It refers to line K, but never it says it is a straight line or a curve line or anything like that. If K is indeed a straight line the answer would be C, but since we don't have that information my answer was E.

Is this reasoning correct?
