This is very good example as it serves as one of the examples where "being" can be used legitimately. Here "being" is used as a gerund (-ing) and correctly because the sentence is of the for X makes ....., here X must be a noun structure. This rule rules out option A and B. C is out for SVA error and E is unnecessarily wordy and ackward.
