GMAT Sentence Correction (SC) | Re: Watching Jonathan Demme's 2004 documentary

Just going by grammar alone: both --- as well as is wrong, so, A and B are out; we require a singular verb for the noun ‘watching’ so, C is out. D is out because the intrusion of 'very' is unjustified and finally, E remains.

Grammar apart, what the prompt suggests is rather difficult to make out. Because an Agronomist is an agricultural specialist, it is not clear what connection a documentary with such a title can have with a short-term course on a tumultuous past, and with a visit with
