GMAT Sentence Correction (SC) | Re: Most scientists surveyed view artificial sweetners as unsafe

IMO-D

I opted for D because we need WOULD (Uncertainty) not will (Certainty)
Because scientists BELIEVE that sweeteners can be made adequately safe in future but weather scientists will able to achieve their target...we ar not sure..
So, WOULD should be used.

Can you please assist..
Also, is it a GMAT standard questions...whats your opinion..?
