I am so appreciative for the thorough discussion of this passage, but I still have a few lingering questions:
1. Is there a difference between "quantum tunneling" and "quantum theory" mentioned in the passage?
2. I do not understand this part of the passage: "If you throw a ball at a wall, you expect it to bounce back, not to pass straight through it. Yet subatomic particles perform the equivalent feat." What makes the feat "equivalent"?
