seems fine

(B) as any foreign player ever had been
"had been" makes it look like there's been a streak in past but was over in past as well. however,we know the winning is still not done .only coming close to the win is still on. so use of past tense makes is not valid

(C) as any foreign player ever had done
same as B

(D) that any foreign player ever did
"as..." must be followed by as."As.....that" is wrong
