My doubt comes with the definition of the word "reasoning".

We could say that John provides some facts "Alma is one of the biggest makers of imports" that he uses as evidence(premise ) to promote his conclusion "I infer that you no longer support unions".

Could we say that the reasoning includes not only the premises but
