can anyone explain why usage of would in this sentence is correct.( because there is not any hypothetical or uncertain situation here .)???

Hellokakakakaak ,

We hope this finds you well.

To answer your query, "would + base form of verb ("become" in this sentence)" is used to refer to a past action from a point in time further in the past; for example, "When I left, I did not realize I would be late."

We hope this helps.
All the best!
