The prepositional phrase ‘because of’ should be followed by either a noun or noun phrase.
Because of its amazing ability … is a noun phrase.
2. What is after ‘because of ‘is not a clause as you have assumed. If it is a clause, there should be a verb. There is no verb in the modifier part in ‘C”.
