I see many people suggesting - As a general rule or a litmus test - we have to replace "Due to" by "Caused by"
So lets take the same sentence as an example :-
Two new studies indicate that many people become obese due to the fact that their bodies burn calories too slowly
After replacing :-
Two new studies indicate that many people become obesecaused by the fact that their bodies burn calories too slowly
My Question - is Due to correct in the original underlined sentence.
