GMAT Critical Reasoning (CR) | CR Notes: Time spent writing synthesis of argument

Dear Gmatclubbers,

I feel I spend a lot of time writing the synthesis of the argument.
Indeed, I spend 2:40 min per CR question.(average)

The process of writing helps me to print the premises and conclusion in my mind during reading the argument.
It helps me also to stay focus but still spend too much time.

What are your inputs concerning the process to answer CR questions?
I am open to your method/process? Do you take notes?
