Consider doing a few easy questions to "warm up" beforehand. Don't let the first questions you see on the day be those of the actual mock or exam itself.

Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for SC may be helpful to check out. Memorizing commonly tested idioms could be useful as well. You could also look into working with a study buddy who is strong on SC.
