If \(x \gt 1\) and \(y \gt 1\), is \(x \gt y\)?

(1) \(\sqrt{x} \gt y\)

(2) \(\sqrt{y} \lt x\)

Let's say x=4 and y=3, so is the first condition still fine and sufficient?

x = 4 and y = 3 does not satisfy \(\sqrt{x} \gt y\).
