Problem Solving (PS) | Re: The average age of 3 brothers 18 years. Their ages are in the ratio 2:

$

0
Let’s say
Youngest brother:A
Middle brother:B
Oldest brother:C

A+B+C/3 = 18
Times both sides by 3

A+B+C = 54
That’s the total of their ages.
Ratio of brothers’ age is 2:3:4
2+3+4=9
54/9=6
Now if we see the proportions 2 is the smallest so he must be A.
2*6=12
Answer=E
