IIM Group Discussions | IIMA PGPX program

Hi all,

I am planning to apply for R2 for IIMA PGPX and wish to know how the program is for someone with 6-7yrs of work experience. Specifically requesting feedback on following points -
1. Its perception in the industry -- is it typically compared to 1-yr program at ISB? or considered inferior to it since ISB's is flagship.
2. Would it open the same doors in one's career as PGP program? in terms access to CXO positions in top companies?
3. Can someone pivot into finance, consulting, PM roles?
4. Chances of working abroad few years after MBA?
5. Any one who has gone through the program and has been in the industry 4-5years, how has the experience been? does the name tag hold the same weight given that its PGPX and not PGP?

Any feedback would be really appreciated!!
