Hi Sanam2k,

A 680 is a fantastic initial CAT/mock score (the Average Score on the Official GMAT hovers around 550-560 most years). Assuming that you took that CAT in a realistic fashion (for example: you had not already seen any of the questions, you did not pause the Exam, etc.), then that Score implies that you are a naturally strong critical-thinker - which is great! Unfortunately, one practice result is not enough to properly define your current 'ability level' (you may have gotten a bit lucky or unlucky on this CAT) nor how you might score on the Official GMAT - but this is a great starting point.

Since you're asking some broader admissions questions, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans.
