(1) a is a multiple of b.

(2) c is a multiple of 7.

FROM STATEMENT - I ( INSUFFICIENT )

\(a = kb\)

So,\(a+b= kb + b = c\)

Or,\(b ( k + 1 ) = c\)

Since, b and k can take multiple values we can not be certain that b a multiple of 7
FROM STATEMENT - II ( INSUFFICIENT )
\(a+b = 7Kc\)
Since, b and k can take multiple values we can not be certain that b a multiple of 7
