The passage from Borges' lecture that is quoted in PassageA is presented as a way of supporting the author's own argument about the nature of literature. Borges suggests that the participation of the reader is essential to the literary text, and the author of Passage A agrees with this view. Therefore, the author of PassageA is expressing complete agreement with Borges'stance.
