A. 21

B. 20

C. 19

D. 16

E. 15

Max possible will be all 4 pairs of matching shoes and 1 single shoe, ie 4 pair + 1 pair is lost.

Thus, maximum matching pair of shoes possible will be 25 - 5 = 20, Answer will be (B)
