­I. is supported. The passage states that near the end of the 1970s, there was a resurgence of ska's influence, particularly in Britain, where it evolved into two tone ska. This is supported by the statement: "Near the end of the decade, however, there was a resurgence of the influence of ska because of its upbeat, danceable rhythm. This faster paced ska came to be known as two tone."
