­Since the question is about the strengthener, which increases our belief in the conclusion. It is not a Must be true condition. Since Choice C increases our belief in the conclusion, hence it is a correct choice.

An example of a must be true assumption could be: The shops opens after 10PM are responsible for the crimes in thetown.

Argument says: New ordinance will cause  ''reduction in crime and improvement in the overall quality of life

This can be strengthen by saying that:
1. ''No cause'' will have ''no effect''
2. Some other case had the Same cause and same effect.
