I need your help with question 5,

I was confused between A and E, E says "Any given demographic group entered theworkforce..." . I comprehended it - "anygiven" would mean either first-time or reentering workers (given in the passage). Please let me know if there is something wrong with this thinking.

The above was the only reason why I selected E during myattempt.

"First-time" and "reentering" workers represent two very specific groups or demographics. "Workers in ANY given demographic group" would NOT have to belong to one of those two specific groups.

Choice (E) suggests that the number of workers taking temporary positions would increase as more workers in ANY group -- not just those two specific groups -- enter the workforce, and that's not consistent with what's in the passage.

For more on (A) vs. (E), check out this post: https://gmatclub.com/forum/some-observe
