I am curious about the use of "for", IMO, I think the word"for " here is correct, because"for " indicates a comparison.
I have a example from OG16 SC # 77
While the cost of running nuclear plants is about the same asfor other types of power plants, the fixed costs that stem from building nuclear plants make the electricity they generate more expensive
