The "hard deadline" that you're referring to is likely a deadline for the physical application. Business School Admissions Committees often require weeks (or even months) to review all of the applications and decide who to invite to attend School. As such, I suspect you would be fine as long as your application was in on time (even if your Official Score Report wasn't available until April 2nd or later).
