However, a unique feature aboutit is thatit can appearbefore the antecedent (thenoun/noun-phrase thatit is referring to). For example:
It takes great courage to prevail amidst uncertainty.
A casual look at the above sentence might suggest thatit doesnot refer to any noun. However, a closer look would reveal thatit does refer
