Any questions that is unanswered is 'penalized' - and that penalty is WORSE than if you had simply gotten the question wrong. This is meant to say that you really must make sure to answer every question in each section (even if you're just taking a guess). With a score goal of 650, you don't have to correctly answer any questions that you think are too hard or too weird, but you do have to nail the 'gettable' questions (and that means keeping the silly/little mistakes to a minimum).
