The sentence is saying 3 out of 4 own a bicycle. So, technically, everyone out of those 3 would own one bicycle. If you say bicycles, it would mean all the 3 must have more than 1 bicycle. but the meaning of the sentence is if you ownan automobile , then chances of owninga bicycle if 75%. I hope
