GMAT Sentence Correction (SC) | Re: Unlike Acanthus, whose wedding was sparsely attended being

Mytechnique (not my grammarknowledge):

A andB are out because ofbeing (it is high probability thatbeing answers are wrong. Not always, but most of them). We haveC ,D andE left.D is comparing Acanthus to Tom's wedding, which is obviously wrong.C - the structure is not parallel:

Achantus:
-whose wedding was sparsely attended
-and he was married in a low profile community church

Better to usewho thanhe . So,E is correct one.
