Bunuel or anyone, suppose the consecutive NUMBERS are 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4?
Doesn't that qualify as an arithmetic sequence with common difference of 1/4?
If so, 1/4 + 2/4 + 3/4 = 6/4 or 3/2. 3/2 divided by 3 is 1/2.
The only answer that makes sense from the question is indeed C, but I had to decide that "number" meant "integer."
