The problem here is in the modifier. "Each of them" is singular--it's referring to each individual woman in turn. Therefore we can't say "Hemingway's wives."It sounds like we're saying that each womanwas all of Hemingway's wives.

As written, B is also flawed for placing an unnecessary comma before "interesting
