Here's what (B) says:

    "...environmentalists in Chicago report that the total amount of pollutant emitted annually by vehicles at O'Hare International Airport is twice as much annually as is emitted by the..."


"Annually" isn't just unnecessary here -- it's 100% ridiculously redundant. You can sometimes get away with a little bit of wordiness on the GMAT, but there's no grey area on this one.
