A) 16

B) 24

C) 48

D) 64

E) 96

We can let n = the side of the cube and we have:

n^3 = 64

n = 4

Each face of the cube is 4^2 = 16 square units. Since a cube has 6 faces, the total surface area will thus be 6 x 16 = 96.

Answer: E
