Good news! GMAC released its update to the GMATPrep software earlier than anticipated. The new version allows you to select your favorite section order on the adaptive tests, too.
There's also an interesting bit of language on the download page: "Users taking an exam more than twice will see the same questions repeated." So maybe they've changed it so that you WON'T see repeated questions the second time you see a particular test? If so, that would be amazing.
