I'm a little confused as to the wording of A - it says turtles never 'been washed upon ashore' while PR agency says they 'weren't washed upon ashore' - so does washed ashore mean they're still alive? Aren't they saying the same thing? How does it cast doubt over the argument?
Also just because they weren't seen dead ('beached'), does it mean they're alive?

Would appreciate some explanation on this, thank you!
