If we make the equation

1/6x = x
1/2x = z
1/x = y

1/6x + 1/2x + 1/x = 1/30,000


Why cant be C be correct as we can solve to get X

Because the actual measurement of the rate is not given. The rate could be gallons/hour or gallons/sec or gallons/min. Unless
