A,B--misplaced modifier..leading towards Rome should hv been placed close to the subject Julius Caesar.
C--- regarded is incorrect idiom usage.regarded means observed or looked upon.
D--correct idiom. Regarded as=considered to be.
E--the more than 4000 is wordy.Also theres no requiremnt of bringing in comma+subject+verb here thus introducing the concept of FANBOYS.Fanboys are used only in case of Independent Clauses.Here
