(B) –4
(C) –1
(D) 4
(E) 39

Since we have been asked to find the value of f(-4)
Here x=-4, for the expression f(x) = \(x^2+5x+3\)

Plugging values of x, we get
\(x^2+5x+3 = (-4)^2 +5(-4) + 3 = 16 - 20 + 3 = -1\)(Option C)
