This question can be tricky, we are asked for 8p + 6m?

1) At the souvenir shop, the total price of 4 posters and 3 maps is $39.70

4p + 3m = 39.70 ==> Multiply this by 2

8p + 6m =79.40

Hence, (1) ===== is SUFFICIENT

2) At the souvenir shop, the total price of 12 posters and 9 maps is $119.10
12p + 9m = 119.10
