If you've truly been studying consistently for the last 3 months by using a 'book heavy' study approach, then I don't think that you'll be able to get from a Q40 to a Q49 studying in the same ways as before. Simply working through lots of additional practice questions probably won't be the 'solution' to this either. You need to change how you 'see' (and respond to) the Quant section of the GMAT - and "your way" of approaching that section has gotten you stuck at this current
