This is how i went about with the question. So the argument says that the reason for the differences in the psychological capacities is the inadequacy of the study results. So the assumption must be the statement which says that there is o other reason for such a difference to occur. But if you consider option D which states that - The psychological capacities of young humans and young chimps differ significantly, It is directly strengthening the conclusion and hence can be the correct assumption.
