1) When full, jug K holds 5 gallons of water.
2) Jug J is 50 percent full and jug K is 40 percent full.


So the two jugs have certain individual capacities, but they are not necessarily filled to capacity.

(1) Capacity of K is 5 gallons, and this means capacity of J should be 20% more or 6 gallons. So now we have their capacities but
